At your first appointment, you will meet with Dr. Patel, who will get to know you, and your dental and medical history. X-rays will be taken, followed by a comprehensive examination, and addressing the reason for your visit.
If your prior dental history is with another dentist, it helps to have a copy of those records – if that is an option. Don’t worry if you don’t – most of what Dr. Patel needs to know will be revealed through the exam and speaking with you.
If you have dental insurance, you would have provided that to our office while scheduling the appointment, but please bring the card for us to scan. If you don’t have insurance, and would like to sign up for our in-house dental savings plan, please feel free to call or ask during your visit.
Most importantly, feel free to ask questions and enhance your awareness. Dr. Patel loves it when patients are curious and want to take ownership of their oral hygiene.
